Queen of Clean Making Your Own Laundry Stain Removers

MAKING YOUR OWN LAUNDRY STAIN REMOVERS
Nothing is cheaper or easier than making your own laundry stain removers from safer and more natural products. Store them on near your washer so they are ready for use.
Always label your spotters so that you know at a glance which one is for which thing.
GENERAL ALL-PURPOSE SPOTTER
Combine the following in a large spray bottle.
1 bottle of rubbing alcohol
2 of the alcohol bottles filled with water
Spray this on spots and spills, wait a few minutes and then launder as usual.
BEVERAGE, FRUIT AND GRASS SPOTTER
Combine equal portions of
White vinegar
Liquid dish soap
Water
Shake well and work the solution into the spot. Let stand a few minutes and then launder as usual.
NON-OILY STAIN REMOVER
Combine equal portions of the flowing ingredients:
Ammonia
Liquid dishwashing soap
Water
Shake well and work the solution into the spot. Let stand a few minutes and flush with water. This spotter works well on stains such as milk, blood, perspiration and urine. Not for washable silk, wool, spandex, acetate.
OILY STAIN REMOVER
Combine the following in a squirt bottle:
1 tablespoon glycerin
1 tablespoon liquid dishwashing soap
8 tablespoons of water
Work the solution into grease and oil stains. Let sit a few minutes, flush with water and launder as usual.
All spotters are for washable fabrics only. If in doubt, test first!
