Spice Shelf

What a difference two trash bags can make on a spice shelf

Back home

Had a great Spring Break first a Great visit in Cottonwood with Steve and Marilyn.

Then a visit to Harraha's Ak Chin for a visit to our money. The buffet is not to bad but the pecan rolls in the snack bar are not to be missed.

Stopped at BJ's http://www.bjsrestaurants.com/locations.aspx?qst=az in Chandler on the way home for a roast beef dip and onion strings. Great food and serviced as usual.

Got home and checked the web found that The Red White and Brew http://www.rwbaz.com/ had Pike on their menu. We had to visit. Went to the one on Mc Dowell 45 minute wait, not for us. We had a good J. A Jance book on the iPod so off to the Chandler location. Quite a bit of difference in the two locations. The Chandler location has live music nightly except Monday's. We got our pike,

St Patricks Morning

On Marilyn's suggestion we visited Brandi's Kitchen a hidden jewel in Cottonwood located in a shopping center at 1695 East Cottonwood Street Suite J. This is my kind of restaurant they have green chilies.

No green eggs for me, Jan and I decided to share the green chili cheese omelet with a side of biscuits and gravy. Marilyn and Steve choose the basic breakfast eggs potatoes and toast.
Great food and service a great place to start the day.

The influence continues

The Ribs

The River

The total package

It does not get much better than this

The influence of The River

Who would have thunk that we could be considering food after that killer breakfast at Georgie's. It must be the influence of The River.

Or the hospitality of Marilyn and Steve.

today in Cottonwood

Today we visited Georgies in Cottonwood (4141 E Western Dr # D Cottonwood, AZ 86326) for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls are killer, sliced down the middle and grilled. The Chili Verde omelet is second to none. If you are ever passing by the Cottonwood/Camp Verde turnoff heading for Flagstaff or Sedona this is a must stop place.
